Look Good... Feel Better

Look Good... Feel Better is a national community service program dedicated to helping women – through hands on experience – techniques to help restore their appearance and self-image during chemotherapy and radiation treatment. It is provided free of charge.

Look Good… Feel Better is an initiative of the member companies of ACCORD Australasia Ltd (Advocate for the Consumer, Cosmetic, Hygiene and Specialty Products Industry).

In a relaxed and friendly workshop environment, participants learn how to manage the changes that occur to skin, hair and general appearance as a result of treatment. Participants find that the program boosts their self esteem and helps them to be confident and positive during cancer treatment.

Workshops last for approximately two hours and participants are welcome to bring a friend.

To participate in a Look Good… Feel Better workshop at Austin Health please contact the Wellness Program Coordinator on 03 9496 3799.
