We invite you to become a Bequest Ambassador

By remembering the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre in your Will, as a token of appreciation, you will be welcomed as a Bequest Ambassador and be presented with an Ambassador Certificate and Lapel Pin. However, if you do not wish to receive this recognition, your wishes will be respected.

Harry Ronald Orchard Legacy

A modest war veteran, Harry Orchard left a very generous bequest of over $440,000 to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre.

Throughout his life, Harry volunteered with over 40 community organisations. When Jean became ill with cancer it wasn’t long before Harry became a volunteer at the Heidelberg Repatriation Hospital – where Jean was a patient. For almost ten years, Harry was a valued part of the volunteering team, beginning the tradition of cutting rosemary sprigs to attach to poppies for the Anzac Day commemorations held at the hospital. When Jean died a year short of their 60th wedding anniversary, Harry decided to leave a bequest to the hospital as his way of helping future cancer patients and their families.
